We are recruiting for a Strategic Projects Manager to join Kin Vet Community, on a full time, permanent basis. This role will be remote based with occasional travel.

Job Purpose Summary

The Project Manager is responsible for working with the c-suite and senior stakeholder teams across the Kin Community, ensuring the successful delivery of multiple strategic work streams to drive change, improve productivity and underpin commercial growth.

Reporting into the COO you will ensure that all the usual duties of a Project Manager including agreeing deliverables, success criteria’s and resource requirements are planned and monitored as well as reporting on a continued basis on the status of all the work streams against the project plan, including budgeting and risks mitigations.

Key Role Accountabilities:

  • Work collaboratively with the c-suite to identify project work streams, delivery timescales and budgeting requirements.
  • Lead on translating the strategic objectives into actionable projects and ensure successful delivery, working in collaboration with SMEs within the business to project scope the end-to end delivery needs.
  • Manage and ensure resource allocation is optimised to ensure delivery success.
  • Create and implement a reporting/insights suite to provide visibility to leaders within the business on the ongoing status of the projects and flagging concerns or setbacks in a timely manner.
  • Drive cost efficiencies continuously and look for alternative solutions or opportunities to enhance delivery further.
  • Continuous risk management, taking ownership of issues, making recommendations to mitigate or reduce risk.

Skills & experience:

  • Experience of working with business strategies, with proven experience working at c-suite level as well as end service users.
  • Ideal experience within veterinary or similar industry.
  • Experience of leading and communicating with individuals/teams that are not direct reports.
  • Experience of delivering projects at a high standard.
  • An individual who has impeccable people skills – conversational and written.
  • A collaborative individual who can influence teams to achieve objectives as well as work independently.
  • Excellent planning and execution of multiple projects at any one time.
  • Experience of report writing at board/c-suite level
  • Experience of risk management and budgeting.
  • Takes ownership, gets the job done and delivers on promises.
  • Initiative-taker that can self-motivate and drive performance remotely.
  • Always has the end user and the user experience of its intended customers at the heart of what they do.
  • Is a collaborator and ensures the best outcomes are achieved.
  • Excellent communication skills across all levels within the organisation
  • Computer literacy, able to confidently adopt new systems as well as Microsoft Office skills (Word, Outlook etc)
